Wexford take 2

It looks like Wexford is looking to  build on the success of the Chesterfield with new class A office and lab space next to their parking deck on Gregson.
Not much info yet, but intriguing possibility.
Hopefully this will help spur development on that side of Gregson.

Thanks for posting this. This has been in the works for quite some time, I remember hearing about it at a high level at least a year ago. Glad to see it’s moving forward. I also noticed a few days ago that an agtech company called Oerth Bio is taking space in Brightleaf ($55MM raised, started as a JV with Bayer) which I thought was promising in terms of having more workers in that segment of downtown. In conjunction with Longfellow investing heavily in Durham ID and the broader momentum from RTP recently we are well on our way to having a nice biotech/agtech/life science cluster here with some real world class companies and talent.

No doubt about it. (According to this article) Durham is the #4 city in the world for venture capital investment dollars per capita.

Has anyone heard anything on this project? Website still says in predevlopment, but Q4 occupancy. Don't that's going to happen. But haven't been down that way in a while to see if any site work has begun.

It looks like they did finally file a development request for this project. Great news! 9 story building according to the description. The Brightleaf area is going to be massively different in a few years between this and the new Asana building.

Anything interesting besides what's already available on their website?

Not really much new info but promising to see the project taking some more official steps toward getting underway.
