Lorient Project at Jackson & Gregson?

Does anyone know what the story is with the "Jackson Street Condos" project at Jackson and Gregson? Lorient seems to have purchased three contiguous lots there in July of 2021. They are teasing a future 56-unit luxury apartment/condo project on their website called Palace Residence II, but the renderings don't really match up to the spot. Obviously, whatever they are planning is still very preliminary, but I'm curious about what they're up to there.

I found this listing - maybe they're looking to sell those parcels now.

It's a 6-story condo building in design. Found this -- they applied for a variance in April because of the steep grade change along Vickers which, if passed, would allow them to step away from and have parking facing the street.

Great catch! I guess we'll just have to see if this actually gets built.
