Global Equity Project - Hayti

This is a fascinating proposal. I’ll be really interested to see how much progress they make in funding this project. It seems extremely ambitious to say the least. Anyone familiar with a similar project that’s been done or is being considered elsewhere?

This seems very cool. The article says 2,000-acre site, which I assume is a mistake (that would be like a circle with nearly a mile radius).

That said, I bet it is the old Merrick St/Umstead St/Grant St site, which would total about 20 acres controlled by DHA (under the filing Development Ventures Inc). I have wondered about that site for a while. This would be a great use for it.
