The VA announced long term plans to move the VAMC to a more central "Raleigh-Durham" site and keep a large Durham VA outpatient clinic. Some of the rationale was the lack of room for growth/expansion at the current site. Does the VA build the outpatient center on the same site or vacate this land? Where will the new VAMC go?
