can you link to where ever you found info on elizabeth st apts? i've been watching (with no luck) for statements on the project, as i was worried the mcdougald terrace incident followed immediately by the pandemic had put this on indefinite pause. would be super excited to see actual movement on this project heading into the new year.

Thanks! I found your post and eventually found the permit on durham open data. Doesn't seem to have much in the way of details regarding how this fits into the plan(s) submitting and approved last year.

For some reason I thought they'd decided to go the "garden apartment" model for the plot closer to Elizabeth St(https://www.durhamhousingauthority.org/public/uploads/DDNP-Report-Final-Executive-Summary.pdf), and leave the larger buildings for Main and perhaps Dilliard. Maybe that's changed, or maybe this application is vague enough that this could be, instead, for the tower side redevelopment. Either way, exciting to see this moving forward!
